Bhastrika Pranayama, How is Bhastrika Pranayama done?

Bhastrika Pranayama is one of the many types of Pranayam. Bhastrika means blower in sanskrita language and in Bhastrika pranayama, exhalation of breath forcibly and quickly is done. One should inhale and exhale breath like a blower.

Procedure of Bhastrika Pranayam: Sit in a comfortable Asana. Breathe in through both the nostrils forcefully, till the lungs are full and diaphragm is stretched. Then breathe out forcefully also.Take deep breaths and then completely breathe out.

Duration of Bhastrika Pranayam : 2 minutes to 5 minutes max.
